A Cabaret Evening: Craig Cunningham and Kevin Weldon

Bring On The Men!
A Cabaret Evening
Craig Cunningham and Kevin Weldon, also known as “The Backdoor Boys”, are not quite like other Boy Bands. In their new show “Bring On The Men!” they draw on material from the musical theater, classic American Standards, and the “counter culture” music scene. They sing and joke their way through the Contemporary Life Experience, looking at the world through Lavender Colored Glasses, as it were.
Separately they have performed on Broadway, throughout the US, Canada, Middle East and Europe. Audiences have enjoyed their work on radio, on television, and venues from Radio City Music Hall and the concert stages of Europe to intimate NYC Cabaret clubs like Don’t Tell Mama’s and Eighty Eights. Together they have become a crowd favorite in the Berkshires and Club Helsinki, in Hudson. They put a new spin on some old favorites, and explore lesser known social and political satirical numbers.
WHAT THE CRITICS HAVE SAID:
“…shot through with a tough kind of self irony that is intriguing, and ultimately inspiring.” TIME OUT NEW YORK
“A one in a million show.” CABARET HOTLINE
“FABULOUS!” CAB MAGAZINE
“Sometimes very funny, sometimes touching, and always entertaining.” BACKSTAGE
“…jubilant extreme…” HX MAGAZINE
Start the evening with us with a special FALL DINNER:

Ben Cosgrove is a composer, pianist, and multi-instrumentalist based in New England. He performs regularly all over the country, writes scores for films, plays, radio, and television, and has produced several well-received albums of original instrumental music. His “electric and exhilarating” live performances on solo piano are at once dazzling and intimate, the music both delicate and commanding.
The presentation will be followed by a
Wine and Cheese Reception
